Features

OmTribes is a multi-listing directory that allows members to create and connect listings for People, Places, Events, Offers, Jobs and Communities. 

You can create up to 10 listings each year, depending on your listing subscription, providing an opportunity to create multiple listings of the same type, or branch out and showcase different aspect of your business.

    • OM 1 Awaken: 4 Listings (Any Type)
    • OM 2 Inspire: 6 Listings (Any Type)
    • OM 3 Thrive: 10 Listings (Any Type)

Listings can be found using our highly detailed, industry-specific advanced search and filtering. Filters vary, depending on the type of listing, but some common filters include ‘Categories’, ‘Regions’, ‘Services’ and ‘Features’.

We encourage you to be as thorough as possible when building your listings which helps you to build trust, increase platform visibility and showcase a premium offering. 

People and Places listings have the opportunity to provide business and brand details that help our community members make better-informed decisions.

The number of features available vary depending on the listing package you have purchased.

The following details are available to all listing owners, regardless of your listing subscription.

All paid listings include a built-in contact form, providing a quick and easy way for users to contact listing owners.

By default, emails are sent to the email address used when signing up to the platform. You also have the option of selecting an alternative email at the time of creating a listing . This is useful if you want to direct enquiries to different email accounts for certain listings.

Listing owners have the option of displaying their place of business or event venue location on a map, providing a visual reference and quick access to directions for users. 

Social proof in the form of ratings, reviews and testimonials positively influence customer behaviour by helping build brand trust and credibility. Listing ratings and reviews help our listing owners build their social proof by accumulating positive feedback. 

OmTribes reviews are always moderated, can only be submitted by registered users, and cannot be submitted by listing owners for their own listings.

OmBusiness members have access to an Analytics Dashboard that provides valuable and easy-to-digest Listing analytics. You can locate your Analytics Dashboard by clicking your profile image in the top right corner of the header area and selecting Analytics.

Your Analytics Dashboard will show an overview of your:

  • Published Listings: ‘Active’ listings currently on our platform.
  • Pending Listings: Listings waiting to be approved by our team.
  • Active Promotions: Listings that have been promoted.
  • Weekly Views: The number of people who have viewed your listings in the last seven days. 

You can also view a summary of the number of people who have viewed, reviewed, shared, saved or clicked links in your listings, for each listing type (e.g., Places, Events, etc).  

Let people know about your regular work hours or availability. The Work Hours Block allows you to select from the following options for each day of the week: 

  • Add Hours
  • Open / Closed All Day
  • By Appointment Only

Linked Listings make it easy for users to find listings that are connected to one another and provide another means for business owners to promote their offerings.

For example, a bricks-and-mortar business (Place) can connect to and display team members (People), specials (Offers) and upcoming courses (Events) under the dedicated tab of a business listing.

Similarly, Event Listings can link to facilitators (People) and venues (Places) that have a presence on the platform.   

Duplicated listings make it simple to create multiple listings on our platform that share similar information. You can easily duplicate your existing listings in just a few quick steps from your Listings Dashboard.

    1. Click your profile icon in the top right corner of the header area and select Listings.
    2. Click the Duplicate Icon on one of your listings.
    3. Choose the desired package to place the duplicated listing under.
    4. Make any desired changes to what will be your new listing.
    5. Preview your listing and/or Submit it.

All business listings contain essential contact information (name, address and phone number) to make it easy for people to reach you and help your listing get found by search engines.

Contact information appears in an actionable format (eg., click-to-call) allowing users to call or get directions at the click of a button. 

Social Network links can be added to listings. When a link is added the name of the network and the corresponding icon are automatically added. When someone clicks on one of your social links, that network’s website will open in a new browser tab so that users can stay on your listing.

Easily embed a video into your listing using services like YouTube or Vimeo. To add a video, simply add the URL of the video to your listing. Your video URL can be located by clicking Share – Copy Link on any uploaded video.    

If you prefer your video does not show up on your channel or appear in public search results, you can set your video to ‘unlisted’.

Link directly to your website to get more exposure and run visitors through your own sales funnel. Website links are available on all OmBusiness paid plans. 

Cover Image galleries are ideal for communicating your branding and offerings. For highly visual users, the right images are what could ultimately make them choose you.

Your Cover Image Gallery appears at the top of your listing as your listing banner image. You can upload up to 3 images to be used as your Cover Image Gallery. Keep in  mind that the first image you use (on the left) will also appear as your Listing Preview Image on the Explore Page. 

Please ensure images in the header do not contain text. However, you are welcome to include images with text in your Bonus Gallery

Unlock an additional ‘Bonus Gallery’ to further showcase your brand, products and services. 

Upload up to 6 images to be added to Bonus Image Galleries.

Showcase a selection of your most popular services or packages in a dedicated tab on your business listing. Give potential clients a preview of what’s on offer with service descriptions and prices. If you would like to give people the option of purchasing services direct from OmTribes you can display a button that will link to the item in our Store. 

Platform Prominence refers to the amount of exposure and visibility your listing has within search results and on high-traffic pages of the website.

Search Prominence 

    • OM 3 and OM 4 listings appear above OM 1 and OM 2 listings.
    • Promoted Listings are the only listings that are given more prominence, above OM 3 and OM 4 listings.

    • OM 3 and OM 4 listings appear on our home page and other high-traffic pages for a time, giving them greater exposure.
    • OM 3 and OM 4 listings will hold their spot on the high-traffic pages for as long as it takes for new, OM 3 and OM 4 listings or Promoted Listings to push them out.

TIP: To hold onto your Search and Listing Prominence longer or to help guarantee both, we recommend promoting your listings.

While we are always willing to help all of our members, those with OM 3 and OM 4 listing subscriptions can get hands-on assistance from our team.

Those with OM 4 listing subscriptions get priority.

Appointment Booking is available for OM 3 and OM 4 People and Places listings. We provide two ways for listing owners to enable appointment booking direct from listings. 

If you prefer to use your own booking service, you can provide the link to your booking page and users will be taken to a third party service to complete the booking.

Alternatively, you can use Cal.com. If you’re unfamiliar with Cal.com it’s an online appointment scheduling tool that offers a FREE plan with unlimited bookings for individuals.

Listing owners can easily embed Cal.com booking forms by simply pasting their booking form link into their listing. The advantage of using Cal.com is that users can book directly from your listing using a convenient popup window. Cal.com syncs with popular calendar services like Google Calendar, Outlook and iCloud, ensuring you won’t have scheduling conflicts. 

Listings created with an OM 3 plan are Featured Listings. Featured Listings appear higher in search results and on our homepage and other high traffic pages, giving them greater exposure. Featured listings also display an OM Icon on the Listing Preview Card that helps sets them apart from other listings.   

Listings created with an OM 3 plan are also automatically granted verified status on our platform and display a badge so other members know those listings mean business.

Leverage the “foot traffic” of all the users and visitors on our platform and sell products and services directly from your listings. Becoming a product seller makes it easy for users to purchase your services, packages and event tickets without leaving the platform. 

In addition to services, you can also upload and sell digital products such as courses, ebooks, meditations and recorded events and create additional passive revenue streams. 

Running sales promotions (by asking us for a Coupon Code) and linking your Offer Listings to the discounted product in our Store is a great way to drive sales and gain extra exposure using products and linked listing cross-promotions.  

OmTribes receives a 10% commission for any sale that you generate from our platform.

OM 3 Listings have access to Social Promotion+ giving them access to additional social media promotion. Send us your event photos, behind the scenes photos or videos, new product releases, upcoming specials or anything you want to let our community know about your business. 

Prevent your competitors from being displayed within the Similar Listings area of your listing. Competitor blocking removes any reference to listings from your competitors and similar businesses so users can focus solely on your listing. 

Promotions

Listing Promotions give your listings the highest priority in search results, additional placement throughout our platform and special designation badging.

When you promote a listing it will appear at the very top of search results (higher than featured listings) and is featured on our homepage and other high traffic pages, giving you higher exposure.  

Listing Promotion Packages are purchased separately from your listing subscription. You can choose between 3 packages that allow you to boost any listing for 30, 60, or 90 days. 

Listings are easily promoted by visiting your Listings Dashboard and clicking on the Promote Icon for any listing you would like to promote.

  1. Click your profile icon in the top right corner of the header area and select Listings.
  2. Click the Promote Icon on your chosen listing.
  3. Select your chosen package and complete your purchase at checkout. 

Once your order is completed your listing will immediately be given higher priority in search results. 

You can view and manage your active promotions by navigating to your profile dropdown menu and selecting Promotions

Promoted listings and OM 3 listings feature a special designation next to the business or brand name on Listing Preview Cards.

Listing Preview Cards show up in search and strategic locations throughout our platform, offering a quick glimpse into what your listing is about.

    • Promoted Listings: Designated by a full-colour OM “bubble”.
    • Featured Listings:  Designated by a dim-coloured OM “bubble”.
    • Non-Promoted/Non-Featured Listings: Designated by not displaying a OM “bubble”.

Giveaways

Giveaways are an effective way to boost brand awareness, drive traffic to your website, increase engagement on your socials, gain more social followers or create a buzz around a new product or service – all without buying paid ads!

Giveaways and contests provide an incentive for people to share on social media, creating a viral feedback loop that generates momentum and drives traffic, followers and leads. 

Listing owners can select one or more actions they would like entrants to take in exchange for entry into a giveaway. Actions can include likes, follows, subscriptions, web page visits, answers to specific question or polls, or completely custom actions designed by you. The type of giveaway you run depends on your goals and your target market. Think about who your target audience is. What type of people do you want visiting your website, following your socials or answering your poll, for example.

Your giveaway doesn’t need to be expensive, but should be something aimed towards the needs and wants of your target audience. 

You can give away popular products, free services, event tickets, gift cards and vouchers, free or discounted memberships, consultations, private lessons, etc. Choosing a prize that your audience will love will help you attract more entries from your ideal customers. 

If you are OmBusiness Member with an OM3 Listing Subscription package you submit your giveaway details using our online form. Shortly after you submit your form, a member of our Team will reach out to confirm the details of your giveaway.  

If you are a member of another subscription package, but would still like run a giveaway, please reach out to us. 

Giveaway Actions are the actions you ask people to take to enter your giveaway or contest. You can specify a primary action in exchange for a single entry. You can also nominate secondary actions if you choose, allowing people take additional actions in exchange for bonus entries.

Giveaways and contests both give people a chance to win a prize by completing certain actions. In contrast to giveaways, contests require skill to enter, and the winners are chosen based on the quality of their entries. 

Some Giveaway Actions are naturally more suited to contests, such as asking people to submit an image or answer a question where submissions are rated on the basis of creativity. Actions such as asking users to subscribe, follow or visit a page are best suited to giveaways.  

Promoting your giveaway is not a requirement, however we encourage you to promote your giveaway on your socials and in your newsletter to take advantage of the benefits of cross promotion. 

One easy way is to create a quick video or post on your social media accounts. Make sure to include relevant details such as:

  • How to enter the giveaway 
  • When the giveaway ends
  • How winners will be picked (eg., random winner, best photo wins, etc)
  • How winners will be contacted (eg., phone or email)
  • How often people can enter (eg., just once or many times)
  • Who the giveaway is open to if entry if restricted to certain groups (eg., residents of NSW, anyone 18 years or older, etc)
  • A call-to-action, for example telling people to click the link to enter the giveaway. 

Listing FAQ

To create a new listing select OmBusiness – Add Listing from the header menu and select the listing type you want to create. 

If you have not yet purchased a subscription, choose your desired package. This will take you to the Submit Listing Form where you can begin building your listing.  

If you have already purchased a subscription you will be given the option to add your listing under your current listing plan.  

Begin building your listing and hit publish! Don’t forget you can save your listing as a draft and return later if you need to. 

You can make change to your listing at any time from your Listings Dashboard.

    1. Click your profile icon in the top right corner of the header area and select Listings.
    2. Click the Edit Icon on the listing you would like to edit.
    3. Make your desired changes and click Save Changes

Listings are tied to a subscription, so as long as a Listing Subscription is active, the listings tied to that subscription will remain published on the site. 

The only exception to this are Event and Job listings. Both of these Listing Types expire following the end of the event date, or application deadline.

Registered users can submit an overall star rating, message or testimonial and/or image in their reviews. 

OmTribes reviews are always moderated, meaning a member of our team must review and approve each review before it is published on your listing. 

Absolutely! Visit the Subscriptions area of your account dashboard, view the subscription you would like to change, and switch your plan.

While the Analytics Dashboard shows overall statistics for all your published listings, you can also view analytics for individual listings from your Listings Dashboard

    1. Click your profile icon in the top right corner of the header area and select Listings.
    2. Click the Stats Icon on your chosen listing.

Individual Listing Analytics will allow you to see the number of views, unique views and button clicks over different time periods for a specific listing. 

OmTribes welcomes international listings who offer products, services or events accessible to an Australian audience. To list on our platform, simply select International as your Region, and Online as your delivery mode where the option is made available.

You can log in to your account by clicking Log In from the header menu area, or using this direct link.

Once logged in, you can access all areas of your account by clicking your profile icon in the top right corner of the header menu. 

Once logged in, you can change your password from your Account Area.

  1. Click your profile icon in the top right corner of the header area and select Account.
  2. Scroll down to Account Details.
  3. Enter your current password and a new password.
  4. Click Save Changes.  

If you have lost your password, you can reset it by clicking the Reset Password link on the login page.

We use Stripe as our payment processor, allowing us to provide secure credit card transactions.

Once logged in, you can update you credit card information from your Account Area.

  3. Once you have updated your details, click Save Changes

Orders

Once logged in, you can view your orders by selecting Orders from your profile dropdown menu, or by using this link.

Once logged in, your subscription details and renewal date can be viewed by selecting Subscriptions from your profile dropdown menu or by using this link.

From here, click the View button and select Switch Plan to upgrade or downgrade your subscription as desired.

Each of our sellers (and their products) must be approved, but generally, we welcome products and services in the areas of wellness and personal growth to our platform.

OmTribes sellers can sell digital products, services, packages, event tickets, and more, directly from their listings and the OmTribes Store.

Image Guidelines

You can upload 1-3 images to your Cover Image Gallery. The first image (on the left) will also appear as your listing preview cover in search results. 

If uploading only 1 image, the image should be banner style to fit the entire width of the screen. 

Images with text are not permitted in the Cover Image Gallery, but can be added to your Bonus Image Gallery if your package includes this option. The subject matter should be as centered as possible to avoid being cut off at the edges.

Google Reviews
Display your reviews with these simple steps.
  1. From your EmbedSocial dashboard, click the ‘+’ icon next to the ‘Sources’ menu item.
  2. Choose ‘Google.’
  3. Click ‘Connect Google Account.’
  4. Authenticate with Google using the credentials tied to the account where your Google Reviews are coming from.
  5. After authentication is successful, click ‘Create Widget.’
  6. Copy the unique identifier from the Widget Code, as shown in the image below, highlighted in blue.
  7. Edit your Listing and paste the code into the ‘Google Reviews’ field.
  8. Save changes.
